Job summary

The Dental Office of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist with patient care, radiographs, and chair-side assistance in a busy practice.

You will maintain infection control, educate patients, and help ensure a positive experience while upholding safety regulations. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, state certifications as required, and an associate degree or certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and state-mandated training/certification as applicable.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by the state.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for optimal treatment with urgency.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take and process x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Educate patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
