Job summary

IU Health in Indianapolis seeks a dedicated Revenue Cycle Customer Service Associate to deliver frontline services within the Revenue Cycle System Services. You will assist with patient registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling, cashiering, and related support, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role emphasizes collaboration, effective communication, and initiative to meet objectives while maintaining productivity and quality

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in hospital Revenue Cycle is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration and financial clearance.
• Assist with insurance verification and prior-authorization support.

This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
