Job summary

Johnsonville Meadowside is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for reliability of production and utility equipment. You will apply Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts and collaborate with engineers and production members to upgrade machinery as the business grows.

Role involves maintaining current equipment, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues, and supporting projects to improve uptime.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic Electrical experience/understanding required (PLCs a plus).
• Willingness to learn essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply RCM techniques to improve performance of production equipment.
• Perform maintenance of utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems; apply RCA techniques to prevent recurrence.
• Work on projects (machining, fabrication, capital projects) and with outside vendors.
• Assist with new equipment installation or relocation.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to meet Meadowside, OSHA and USDA standards.
• Contribute to uptime improvements through modifications and layout changes.
• Maintain all utility areas in an orderly fashion.
