Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for the Meadowside facility on 2nd shift. You will maintain and upgrade production and utility equipment, apply RCM concepts, and collaborate with engineers and production staff to keep lines running smoothly.

The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and adherence to Meadowside, OSHA, and USDA standards. A strong maintenance background and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic Electrical experience/understanding is required (PLCs are a plus). Willingness to learn is essential.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, HVAC and boiler systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply RCM techniques to improve performance of production equipment.
• Perform maintenance of utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production and utility equipment; apply RCA to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with equipment installation and relocation.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to meet Meadowside, OSHA and USD A standards.
