Job summary

Coles Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in North Liberty, IA. The role involves maintaining production and facility equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring safe operation of machinery.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, along with an apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance training. The shift is rotating 12-hour nights from 7 pm to 7 am, with on-site work and a fast-paced environment.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

ROP Starting at $30.47/hr

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Includes performing maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to the following:

• Provide emergency/unscheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
• Troubleshoot and repair of production machines
• Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service; utilize QAD to keep notes on PM’s, track labor hours, and write work orders for any jobs preformed that are not already in the QAD maintenance system

Requirements

Ability to be heavy lift certified. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as both on a team and alone. Ability to work in various environmental conditions. Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance qualification.

Preferred >1 year experience in a maintenance tech role within a production setting.Shift:Rotating 12-hr shift (3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off) 7 pm to 7 am
