SMS Data Products Group, Inc. seeks a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) to design, integrate, and implement telecommunication and data infrastructure while complying with industry standards and client needs.

Qualifications

7–10 years in structured cabling design/implementation.
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.
Minimum 6 years developing layout and design for technology systems including voice, data, and structured cabling.
Bachelors Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain, coordinate, design, and provide installation oversight inside plant cable infrastructure (conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber).
Follow DOD and commercial best practice procedures, standards and codes.
Develop maintenance plans for corrections and ensure DOD standards are upheld.
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and Engineering Installation Plans (EIPs).
Provide technical expertise, answer queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Develop proposals, cost estimates, and manage timelines and budgets.
