Job summary

Join MyCHN as a Registered Behavioral Technician to support children and adolescents with person-centered behavioral health services. You will work with a care team to deliver coordinated care within a nonprofit FQHC serving Greater Houston.

Responsibilities include real-time patient support, developing individualized care plans, outreach calls, and community resource connections. A drive for compassionate, patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work with diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time assistance to children and adolescents, including those on the autism spectrum.
• Develop and implement individualized, person-centered care plans.
• Conduct outreach calls and follow-ups for missed visits.
• Co-facilitate educational and support groups under clinical supervision.
• Collaborate with care teams to support assessments and care coordination.
• Connect patients with community resources and address social determinants of health.
• Support efforts to reduce hospitalizations through coordinated care.
• Maintain clear, accurate communication with patients and care team members.
