Job summary

The Place for Children with Autism in Aurora, IL is seeking a Behavior Therapist to work 1:1 with young children with autism. You’ll help develop communication, social and daily-living skills, following programs designed by BCBA supervisors, and you’ll contribute to a caring, team-based environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance; travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

Work 1:1 with children aged 2-8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Implement individualized therapy programs designed by BCBA supervisors, collect data, and participate in team discussions on progress and strategy.
Use play, movement and laughter to engage children while promoting skill-building and growth.
Partner with clients and their families to celebrate wins and handle challenges.
