Job summary

Centria Autism in Texas is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient and compassionate, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and committed to safety.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test within last year
• Pass background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA-based instruction under BCBA supervision
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques
• Collaborate with team and participate in training
