Job summary

Centria Autism in Highland Springs, VA seeks Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under BCBA guidance. You will implement individualized behavior plans using evidence-based strategies to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be patient and team oriented.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid and TB test within last year.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior plans using evidence-based strategies.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors.
