Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services is hiring in Walnut Creek, with sessions in-home or in-clinic for children with autism or developmental delays. The RBT role offers 1:1 support, focusing on communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured activities.

Shifts are 2–8pm, Monday to Sunday, part-time, with a 40-hour expectation across available slots. Compensation ranges from $24–$25 per hour, with opportunities for growth and ongoing supervision within BTS.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s).
• Collect data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision.
