Job summary

Blue Gems ABA Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across home, school, or clinic environments. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and collect progress data in real time.

The role involves collaborating with BCBAs and families to ensure skill generalization, while maintaining a safe and engaging session atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home, school, or clinic settings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
