Job summary

STEPS Institute for Child Development is seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA services under BCBA supervision. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect objective data, and support children with autism and developmental disabilities in clinic, classroom, community and natural settings.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Pass required background checks.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy following treatment plans.
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention programs.
• Collect accurate session data and complete notes on time.
• Prepare client materials as directed by BCBA.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain client dignity, confidentiality and ethics.
• Communicate with supervisor to problem solve concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the learning space.
• Complete other related tasks as assigned.
