Job summary

EDU-AIDs is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Finley, Washington. The role involves working directly with students receiving ABA services to develop communication, social, academic, and daily living skills while promoting independence.

Collaborate with BCBA, teachers, and families to ensure consistent behavioral support. Excellent data collection and documentation are essential, with ongoing supervision and professional development

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs designed by a BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one and small group ABA therapy services to students.
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress, behaviors, and treatment goals.
• Assist students in developing communication, social, academic, and adaptive living skills.
• Collaborate closely with BCBAs, teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistency in behavioral support strategies.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the supervising BCBA.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and ABA program requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
