Job summary

Autism Center of Excellence in Columbia, MD is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with autism. You will implement plans created by a BCBA, collect data, and document sessions using our data system. The role emphasizes safety, parent collaboration, and compassionate care.

The position offers paid training, BCBA supervision, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABA experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting children with autism and challenging behaviors preferred.
• French-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect session data and complete documentation.
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development.
• Follow behavior intervention and safety plans.
• Maintain supervision and respond to client safety needs.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and team members to support progress.
• Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with clients and families.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
