Job summary

Channel ABA is hiring for one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism in Montgomery County, MD. Earn $25.00–$32.00 per hour based on experience, with paid training, ongoing supervision by BCBAs, and flexible scheduling.

Full-time and part-time roles available, with PTO, drive time, and career advancement opportunities. Role involves implementing ABA plans, data collection, and collaboration with caregivers and BCBAs.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification with BACB.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 45 minutes between client locations.
• Pass federal and state background checks; CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children.
• Implement individualized plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect accurate behavioral data using electronic data collection systems.
• Teach communication, social, adaptive living, and functional life skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs and caregivers.
• Maintain professional documentation and session notes.
• Follow BACB ethical guidelines and company policies.
• Attend supervision, team meetings, and training sessions.
