Job summary

Budding Stars ABA in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism through one-on-one ABA therapy in home settings. You will implement plans under the supervision of a BCBA and help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

We offer flexible scheduling, on-the-job training, and growth opportunities, with compensation ranging from $23 to $28 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active RBT certification issued by the BACB.
• Prior experience working with children with autism strongly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong observational, data collection, and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism, compassion, accountability, and initiative in all aspects of job performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy services to clients in home settings.
• Implement plans developed by the supervising BCBA accurately and consistently.
• Accurately collect, record, and submit session data and notes using designated ABA software systems.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain professional, compassionate, and respectful relationships with clients, their families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the BCBA Supervisor and other team members to ensure client progress and success.
