Job summary

Channel ABA in Maryland provides compassionate, assent-based ABA therapy in home and community settings. We offer paid training, supervision by BCBAs, PTO, flexible scheduling, and career growth opportunities.

The role involves delivering one-on-one ABA services to children with autism, collecting data, and collaborating with parents and BCBAs to implement individualized plans. Ideal candidates hold RBT certification, a HS diploma, and 1+ year of relevant experience, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Must hold current RBT certification (BACB).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience with autism/ developmental disabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a clinical team.
• Reliable transportation and travel up to 45 minutes between locations.
• Pass federal/state background checks.
• CPR and First Aid certification current or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Implement individualized behavior plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect accurate behavioral data using electronic data systems.
• Teach communication, social, adaptive living and functional life skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA teaching strategies.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs and caregivers.
• Maintain professional documentation and session notes.
• Follow BACB ethics and company policies.
• Attend supervision, team meetings and training sessions.
