Job summary

Ability Builders is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team in Virginia Beach. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement ABA treatment plans for children with ASD and related developmental conditions.

You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy in various settings, collect data, and follow safety and confidentiality protocols. A strong BA/BS in psychology or related field is preferred, with BACB RBT certification or a plan to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred in psychology, education, or related field.
• Active RBT certification through BACB, or willingness to obtain within a specified time frame.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, and clinic.
• Implement behavior intervention plans as developed by a supervising BCBA.
• Accurately collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Assist in the assessment process through observation and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding client progress and concerns.
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings as required.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards as outlined by the BACB.
• Follow client-specific safety protocols and confidentiality requirements.
