Job summary

Blue Gems ABA Therapy is seeking compassionate RBTs to deliver high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in Kansas City, MO. You will implement plans created by supervising BCBAs, collect real-time data, and work closely with families to support progress.

The role requires an active RBT certification (or eligibility), a high school diploma (a bachelor’s in psychology/education is a plus), and reliable transportation. Strong communication and a passion for helping children are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (or eligible to obtain)
• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field is a plus
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
