Job summary

Blue Gems ABA Therapy in Morrisville, NC is seeking an RBT to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, or clinic settings, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision. You will collect data and collaborate with BCBA teams to promote meaningful progress.

The ideal candidate holds an active RBT certification (or eligibility), a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (or eligibility to obtain certification, if applicable).
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays.
• Reliability: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to support consistency and meaningful skill development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
