Job summary

Blue Gems ABA in Cary, NC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, or clinic settings, under supervision. You will implement behavior plans and collect progress data using clinical software.

The role emphasizes high-quality care, collaboration with BCBAs and families, safety, and a passion for helping children achieve meaningful outcomes. Requires RBT certification (or eligibility), HS diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to support consistency and meaningful skill development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
