Job summary

Texas Children's is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join a fast-paced hospital team. You will support safety of patients at risk, under supervision of a BCBA, applying Applied Behavior Analysis and Family Centered Care to developmentally appropriate care.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment programming under BCBA guidance, assisting the care team with observation and communication about patient status, and maintaining personal professional growth while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or related field.
• BLS certification required.
• RBT certification required within 30 days of entering role.
• Crisis prevention certification preferred.
• 1 year experience with ABA principles with autism or intellectual disability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatment programming under BCBA supervision for safety and risk management.
• Assists the patient care team through observation and communication about patients' status.
• Maintains accountability for development of self.
• Demonstrates commitment to team, flexibility, professional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
