Job summary

Metrocare Services in North Texas is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to implement ABA goals with children with autism in clinic or home settings. You will work 1:1, 1:2, or small groups under BCBA supervision, focusing on functional communication, socialization, and reducing challenging behaviors. You must have a High School Diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• One year of working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BCBA and caregivers to develop target goals.
• Implement 1:1, 1:2, or small group ABA sessions.
• Plan instructional strategies and materials.
• Participate in treatment team meetings regularly.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of progress and document results.
• Manage behaviors per the treatment plan and track progress.
• Document interactions and session summaries in the EHR.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers before and after sessions.
• Maintain organized clinical environment and team coordination.
• Track supervision hours to maintain RBT credential.
• Deliver at least 30 hours of direct intervention per week.
• Other duties as assigned.
