Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a RBT to support a special education classroom for autistic students within Neshamiy Public School District. The role involves data collection, implementing BCBA-designed behavior plans, and maintaining progress records in a school setting.

The position offers a weekday schedule (Mon-Fri) from 8:50am to 3:35pm, aligns with the school calendar, and may include summer extended school year opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Associates degree required.
  • RBT Certification required or ability to obtain RBT within first 60 days of employment.
  • At least one year of experience in an educational setting; experience with autism and/or other special education populations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support a Devereux Educational Strategies program in a special education classroom for autism support, implementing behavior protocols designed by BCBA.
  • Collect and record data under the direction of the BCBA.
  • Maintain up-to-date graphs, summarize and calculate data.
  • Implement universal safety precautions related to individual care.
  • Develop and maintain progress reports in consultation with the BCBA.

Seeking RBT's, working in Neshamiy Public School District
Starting at $21/hour up to $26.50/hour pending higher education and experience in the field
Being an RBT at Devereux has its advantages

Support a Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions program- specifically special education classroom for autistic support; implements behavior protocols designed by BCBA within the school setting with several students. Implements baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions in consultation with the BCBA. Collect and record data under the direction of the BCBA. Maintains up to date graphs, summarizes and calculates data. Implements all universal safety precautions related to individual care. Develops and maintains progress reports in consultation with the BCBA.

Schedule: M-F: 8:50am - 3:35pm:

This position is aligned with the school calendar and is a full-time role covering a 10-month period and opportunities for extended school year program in summer break.

About DESS:

DESS partners with child-serving institutions to provide services in early learning, behavioral and mental health treatment, academic interventions, and prevention programming. We also offer direct staff placement, diagnostic evaluations, and consultation services to school districts.
