Job summary

Cemex US seeks a Production Area Manager to create and assure compliance of the production area program, guaranteeing all product is manufactured within environmental, quality, yield and cost specification by assigning resources for both programmed and outstanding activities in order to solve them safely and according to CEMEX standards, promoting always a safe and engaging work place.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemistry or Chemical preferred) or related major.
2-5 years progressive experience within the heavy industrial manufacturing industry, preferred.
Availability at all times to work and resolve issues of assigned area.

Responsibilities

Lead by example following the Mission, Vision and Values of CEMEX.
Ensure training requirements are met for all personnel in their areas and deliver training where required.
Control and lead all steps in the production process safely and in conformance with plant rules, environmental limits, quality standards and policies.
Assigns, programs, and supervises activities for area personnel and establishes priorities to meet objectives.
