Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC is expanding its manufacturing facility and seeking a dedicated Raw Material Utility to join our team. This hands-on role involves material handling, operating palletizing equipment, and supporting packaging operations to ensure smooth production.

You will monitor pallet data, enter information into our systems, and help keep labeling, barcoding, and inventory accurate.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking equipment.
• Forklift certification obtainable on day one.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a zero-accident culture on the production floor.
• Operate robotic palletizers and production equipment with proper programming for new products.
• Track pallet data and enter information into data collection systems; complete inventory logs.
• Move pallets from production to the warehouse; ensure materials are staged for next shift.
• Ensure labeling and barcoding accuracy; address packaging quality issues.
• Maintain clean and well-maintained equipment and work areas.
