Job summary

Syneos Health in Springfield, IL is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a Rare Disease GI/Hepatology launch. You will be responsible for achieving sales goals in your territory, building clinical value through presentations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute strategic plans.

You must have a life sciences degree and 5+ years pharma sales, including GI/Hepato/rare disease. Travel and autonomy are expected; a driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory preferred.
• Experience launching products in a competitive marketplace.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Self-motivated with strong autonomy and independence.
• Strong technical & analytical skills including CRM and Microsoft Office; proficiency with AI.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales goals in the assigned territory by developing and executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and organize activities for regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget and complete administrative tasks.
