Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Family Access Manager to act as the patient-facing expert across the Rare Disease journey in the Dallas area. The role builds and maintains patient case plans, navigates payer policies, and collaborates with Case Management, Account Executives, and Market Access to ensure timely therapy access.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in healthcare/biotech, strong payer/reimbursement knowledge, and the ability to travel ~60% while supporting patients, families, and care teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare/biotech business, with 3+ years in/account management/sales/reimbursement.
• Rare disease experience preferred.
• Experience with physician-administered drugs and outpatient sites.
• Strong payer and reimbursement understanding; non-clinical barriers expertise.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient-facing expert in rare disease patient journey and liaison for Biogen teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to build and maintain patient case plans.
• Identify and resolve patient access barriers including insurance coverage and site of care.
• Collaborate with Market Access & Reimbursement to engage payers and specialty distributors.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and sites of care.
