Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Rare Disease Key Account Manager in the Tri-state area to drive awareness, access, and treatment initiation for rare disease therapies.

You will partner with health systems, clinics, and infusion centers to optimize buy-and-bill workflows and patient journeys. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage contracting opportunities, and translate data into strategic plans that align with portfolio goals and payer realities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or account management with healthcare providers.
• Ability to navigate complex provider accounts and health systems.
• Knowledge of reimbursement, contracting, and buy-and-bill processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop account plans and strategies to expand rare disease access.
• Engage clinical leaders, administrators, and care teams to improve patient access.
• Lead contracting opportunities and coordinate internal approvals.
• Monitor account performance and report insights to leadership.
