Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. seeks a Rare Disease Business Manager to lead sales for Gastroenterology Rare Disease products across Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana. You will drive demand in physician offices, clinics, and hospitals, and manage compliant selling strategies within a matrix environment.

The role requires a BS/BA and 3+ years of pharma/biotech sales experience, with strong clinical and business acumen, and excellent communication skills. Territory residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree – BS/BA required.
• 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device and/or relevant clinical or industry experience; OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda.
• Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies to inform and influence decision makers.
• Ability to successfully develop and apply clinical and business expertise, and effective selling skills.
• Strong verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills.
• Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities.
• Displays an ongoing commitment to learning and self-improvement.

Responsibilities

• Clearly understand and implement the marketing plan and articulate the value proposition to attain sales objectives.
• Drive product demand in targeted physician offices and key clinics.
• Analyze local and regional trends to build long and short term goals and a successful business plan.
• Work within a matrix environment with Patient Services and Managed Markets ensuring compliant selling approaches.
• Utilize CRM to document account profiles and pre/post call activities.
