Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Rare Condition Clinical Specialist to understand and identify customer needs, supporting pull-through activities and reinforcing Ascendis Pharma as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals and patients.

You will promote the rare conditions portfolio, engage in specialized discussions across multiple disciplines, and drive territory performance with adherence to compliance and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience in rare disease or specialty therapeutics.
• Proven history of strong performance and clinical acumen.
• Ability to be resilient and flexible in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the rare conditions portfolio and engage in face‑to‑face clinical dialogue with multi‑specialty healthcare professionals.
• Use product knowledge to discuss needs with customers in a compliant, ethical manner.
• Drive sales forecasts to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop territory business plans and allocate budget/resources to drive expectations.
• Call on pediatric endocrinologists, genetists, orthopedists, endocrinologists, and pediatricians to gain access into institutions.
