Job summary

Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. (RRD) in North America is seeking a Rare Disease Account Manager to drive promotional relationships with healthcare providers in an assigned geography.

You will deploy sales strategies for approved products and grow sales of Recordati’s rare disease portfolio while adhering to compliance standards. The role requires deep CAD knowledge, strong territory management, and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on patient access and market development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; scientific degree or coursework a plus.
• 5–9 years proven sales success in Rare Diseases, Hematology, or biotechnology.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy models and patient services hubs preferred.
• Strong account management and business acumen.
• Clinical disease-state knowledge and consultative selling experience.
• Cross-functional collaboration and regulatory familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop expert CAD disease-state and product knowledge to build provider relationships.
• Create territory plans using market insights to meet revenue objectives.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and optimize visibility with providers.
• Manage budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Represent Recordati Rare Diseases at industry events with high ethical standards.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, OIG, and PhRMA guidelines.
