SpaceX in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Propulsion Technician (Raptor) on 2nd shift to assemble and test rocket hardware and sub-assemblies. This position requires hands-on mechanical work, the ability to troubleshoot, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing.
• A&P license preferred.
• 2+ years of experience on aircraft or rocket engines.
• Knowledge of measurement devices and propulsion engines.

Responsabilités

• Assemble and test Raptor combustion devices and thermal protection systems.
• Operate vacuum furnaces, ultrasonic immersion, and proof/waterflow booths.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and follow instructions.
• Use torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers.
• Troubleshoot engines and cell systems.
• Operate test cell instrumentation and adhere to ITAR procedures.
• Lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
