Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/kneel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Grind, file, or sand surfaces of metal items using hand tools and machines.
• Chase machine cut threads to size.
• Polish tight tolerance surface finishes.
• Wash parts post-deburr process.
• Inspect surface finishes, threads, and edges.
• Remove defects and smooth uneven surfaces.
• Use tools and fluids to remove chips from passages.
• Borescope parts to check internal defects.
• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Operate forklifts, cranes and heavy equipment.
• Run test cells and use associated instrumentation.
• Operate vacuum furnaces and related equipment.
