Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 4+ years in related fields or 10+ years in CNC machined parts/supply chain.
• Experience identifying and executing an optimized machining supply chain including raw material, machining, processing, inspection and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to read drawings, GD&T, design reviews and quality documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage the supply base supporting critical commodities for the Raptor product line, including machined components and assemblies.
• Monitor costs and vendor performance; discuss should-costing, cost structure, and optimization with engineering leadership.
• Ensure capacity and quality to support ramp-up and design changes with internal teams.
• Lead make-vs-buy analyses and develop optimal sourcing plans with risk assessments.
• Visit supplier facilities to assess capability, equipment, and capacity for NPIs and long-term production.
• Develop should-cost models and educate team members on cost reduction strategies and supplier management.
