Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Planner, Raw Materials (RAPTOR) based in Hawthorne, CA. You will forecast and manage critical raw-material inventories, collaborate with procurement, production, and engineering to sustain SpaceX's high-rate launch cadence.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or material planning.
• Experience in material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, or master production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BOM accuracy in MRP systems for launch vehicle and subassembly rate production.
• Establish and manage inventory targets, review line of balances, align demand signals and allocations.
• Identify and mitigate risk to ensure continuity of supply chain and meet production deadlines.
• Develop expertise in MRP and educate teams on its benefits to the business.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality to reduce obsolescence and issues.
• Partner on implementing advanced supply chain strategies for risk mitigation.
• Proactively manage inventory and optimize working capital.
• Report MRP health metrics to leadership and engineering teams.
