Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager (Raptor) to own the end-to-end planning lifecycle for Raptor sub-assemblies and finished goods, coordinating with engineering, production, and procurement to scale with multiple configurations.

You will manage forecasting, risk-based decisions, and supplier plans to optimize cost, reliability, and ramp rates in a fast-paced NP I environment at Hawthorne, CA. Strong analytics and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 3+ years in engineering, purchasing, or planning (or 9+ years total in those areas).
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, material or production planning, or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning lifecycle for Raptor sub-assemblies or finished goods to satisfy engine production plan.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement to align rate goals, design changes, and supplier plans for scalable configurations.
• Balance cost, reliability, and production rate through risk-based decisions in a dynamic NPI environment.
• Manage the supply schedule for raw materials and finished goods to optimize days on hand and inventory turns.
• Communicate forecasts to internal and external stakeholders reflecting minimum requirements while hedging risk and direction changes.
• Identify and mitigate multi-tier supplier risks and drive to closure with stakeholders across procurement, logistics, and engineering.
• Balance NPI efforts with stable production to meet ramp targets and maintain build rate.
• Plan for design/process changes with engineering to minimize impact on production.
