Job summary

WRITER is seeking a Lead Learning Experience Designer to drive fast-paced, 15–45 minute courses in sprint cycles. You will live-demo and record video-based instruction, partner with product teams, and deliver both live and on-demand trainings across WRITER’s AI-native platform.

Your work accelerates learning with speed and accuracy, adapting to evolving needs. You will own the design lifecycle, ensure high-quality instructional content, and contribute to the rapid-response curriculum roadmap

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field, with demonstrated experience designing and shipping courses at a fast pace.
Proven ability to design effective learning in compact formats — 15–45 minutes rather than long programs.
Comfort with rapid development cycles and short sprints in an AI-native environment.
Strong prioritization and triage skills for proactive/reactive work.
Excellent live facilitation skills for in-person and virtual delivery.
Proficiency with standard LXD tools including authoring tools, LMS platforms, slide tools, and video production.

Responsibilities

Design and build focused, standalone courses — typically 15–45 minutes — in short sprints, shipping 15 courses per year.
Own the full design lifecycle for each course at speed, with smart scope decisions.
Deliver live and virtual training with excellence, adapting to audience questions.
Repurpose content across delivery modes to maximize reach.
Scan proactively for emerging learning needs and field requests quickly.
Balance proactive and reactive work and ship at a cadence aligned with product.
Partner with product teams to gather needs and coordinate with other designers.
