Job summary

Atrium Health Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a dynamic clinical setting. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and ensure patient safety through evidence-based practices.

The role requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience, BLS certification, and an active RN license. You will document in the EHR, participate in team education, and may float to other units as needed to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.
• Active RN license with privileges in the state(s) where care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan as defined by department standards.
