Job summary

The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program and RN licensure with 1 year of clinical nursing experience. BSN is preferred. You may be asked to float within the service area to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing care.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Possibly float to other units to meet patient care needs.
