Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

You will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, monitor conditions, document in EHR, and participate in safety and quality initiatives. A BSN is preferred; 1 year of clinical nursing experience and an active RN license with state privileges are required. BLS is also expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where client services are provided.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Promote a culture of safety.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making.
