UCI Health is seeking a Rapid Response Team (RRT) Registered Nurse to coordinate Code Blue and RRT assessments, respond to rapid response alerts, and deliver advanced nursing care including ABGs, iSTAT and ultrasound-guided procedures. This role also involves developing practice guidelines, data collection, and staff education across the health system.

The ideal candidate holds a CA RN license with BLS/ACLS, CCRN or TCRN on hire, a BSN or higher, and a minimum of five years’ ICU/ED experience,

Qualificações

• Current CA RN license and active status.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CCRN or TCRN certification at hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Minimum five years ICU/ED clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum two years in an acute care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate Code Blue and Rapid Response Team assessment and prioritization.
• Respond to rapid response alerts and Code Stroke calls; facilitate nursing care for deterioration.
• Perform advanced nursing interventions (POCUS, iSTAT, ABGs) and IO insertion.
• Develop practice guidelines, collect and analyze data, educate staff.
• Serve as clinical resource for physicians and staff; ensure comprehensive patient care.
