Job summary

Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care across the patient care continuum.

The role requires BSN and at least 1 year of RN experience, a TX RN license, and current BLS/CPR with ACLS within defined timeframes. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN and at least 1 year of RN experience at hire.
• TX Registered Nurse license required at hire.
• BLS Certification (CPR) within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and continuously.
• Plan and document patient care and discharge goals with team.
• Prepare patients for treatments and communicate changes to the team.
• Reassess and adjust care plans to meet evolving patient needs.
• Provide bedside reporting and ensure continuity of care to the oncoming shift.
