Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and provide nursing care across physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Plan, direct, evaluate, and document the plan of care and discharge needs.
• Prepare patients for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostics, reporting changes.
• Reassess patients and adjust care as needed in coordination with physicians.
• Communicate findings and ensure continuity of care during shift handoffs.
• Maintain patient safety, include medication safety practices and chart documentation.
• Manage supplies and charges, ensuring cost containment and accuracy in records.
• Document in unit records per health system standards to support quality care.
