Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of Idaho Falls is seeking a motivated Mitigation Technician to join our fast-paced, growth-minded team. You’ll respond to emergencies with water extraction, fire/smoke cleanup and mold remediation, and help restore lives with empathy.

You’ll set up drying equipment, perform needed demolition, document progress with industry software, and collaborate with senior leads to hit our 2026 growth goals while upholding a team-first culture.

Qualifications

• The Right Mindset: You are positive, resilient and ready to learn from the best in the business.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ and work in various environments(crawl spaces, attics, etc.)
• Reliability: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record are a must.
• Availability: Participation in rotating "on call" schedule for emergency after hour responses.
• Restoration Experience: (Preferred but not required) IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD) are a huge plus, but we will train the right person with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Rapid Response: Provide emergency restoration service including water extraction, fire/smoke damage cleanup and mold remediation.
• Precision Work: Set up and monitor drying equipment, perform demolition when necessary and ensure every job site is left clean and safe.
• Customer Care: Communicate with empathy and clarity to homeowners and business owners during stressful situations
• Documentation: Use industry software to accurately track job progress, photos and mositure readings.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our senior leads to meet our robust 2026 growth goals while maintaining our "team-first" culture.
