Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of Idaho Falls is seeking a Mitigation Technician to join a fast-paced, growth-minded team focused on emergency response and property restoration. You will perform water extraction, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation, set up and monitor drying equipment, and help ensure job sites are safe and clean.

Qualifications

• The Right Mindset: you are positive, resilient and ready to learn from the best in the business.
• Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in crawl spaces, attics, etc.
• Reliability with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
• Restoration experience preferred; IICRC WRT/ASD are a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Rapid Response: Provide emergency restoration service including water extraction, fire/smoke damage cleanup and mold remediation.
• Precision Work: Set up and monitor drying equipment, perform demolition when necessary and ensure every job site is left clean and safe.
• Customer Care: Communicate with empathy and clarity to homeowners and business owners during stressful situations
• Documentation: Use industry software to accurately track job progress, photos and moisture readings.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our senior leads to meet our growth goals while maintaining a team-first culture.
