Job summary

Alford Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform mitigation and restoration for homes and businesses affected by water, fire, mold, or storms. You'll handle emergency response, damage assessment, equipment setup, and controlled demolition.

You will set up drying equipment, monitor progress, and ensure work meets industry standards and company procedures. The role requires lifting, driving, and working in confined spaces, often after hours, with travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to operate hand tools and restoration equipment.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, attics, and hazardous conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency water losses and perform mitigation services.
• Conduct inspections and assess water damage using moisture detection.
• Extract standing water and remove damaged materials.
• Perform controlled demolition and set up drying equipment.
