Job summary

Samaritan's Purse seeks an Emergency Response Procurement and Logistics Officer to lead international procurement and logistics for rapid humanitarian relief. The role supports field operations, partners with customs and NGOs, and ensures timely delivery of aid while maintaining high integrity standards.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and 4+ years in procurement/logistics, with 2–3 years in emergency response contexts. Expect travel and austere conditions in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4 years in procurement/logistics.
• 2–3 years implementing emergency response procurement in international settings.
• Ability to read MOUs and safety rules; interpret documents.
• Strong report writing and public speaking skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive procurement with precision and transparency.
• Maintain and improve procurement systems and packets; report status to leadership.
• Build strategic partnerships with customs, airport authorities, NGOs, and vendors.
• Support field-operation decision-making with timely, informed recommendations.
• Interact with beneficiaries about welfare while serving in ministry.
• Other duties as assigned.
