Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated EMS communications professional to manage prehospital reports and dispatch duties within a fast-paced hospital environment. The role requires coordination with AHN facilities and security, with an emphasis on accurate data entry and timely information flow.

Preferred candidates will have EMS dispatch experience, an EMT or Paramedic license, and CPR certification (or obtained within 6 months).

Qualifications

• EMT or Paramedic license required.
• Experience in EMS dispatch or 911 communications desirable.
• CPR certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives prehospital reports from EMS providers and relays to receiving facilities.
• Coordinates and dispatches specialty teams within AHN facilities.
• Enters data for all activities in the communications center.
• Provides direct communication to security staff and dispatches officers when needed.
• Monitors safety and security for assigned areas.
